TED'S MONTANA GRILL

The decor is reminiscent of a comfortable bar or pub, but the BBQ is the star of the show here. We love the bison burgers, and the rib eye and pot roast are also superb. RANCHO SANTA FE
So many locals claim Rancho Santa Fe as their favorite restaurant in the area. They've got very large portions, and everything on the menu is delicious. If you crave Mexican and Tex-Mex, you'll want to come back a few times and try everything. The sizzling fajitas are an essential. You of course get chips and salsa with your meal, and you've got a choice of four heat levels on the salsa: Ranchero is mild, pico de gallo is moderate, green tomatillo is hot, and chile de arbol is VERY hot! Live entertainment on the weekends!

BD'S MONGOLIAN GRILL
BD's Mongolian Grill is always a great place to go with groups because it's so much more fun than your average restaurant. Piling your bowl high with all your favorite fixings, from chicken or shrimp to the more exotic choices like calamari... then your choice of veggies and noodles... finally to the sauces and spices... In a way, you're the chef! Just hand the bowl over and let the pros do the cooking. Eat everything that's on that sizzling plate and then feel free to go back up for more. We can never get enough of this place.

BRAMMOR'S AMERICAN GRILL
When you're in the mood for steaks, seafood, chops, and ribs, you've got to go to Brammor's American Grill. The seating is very comfortable here, with nice booths and large round tables for groups. It's well lit, perhaps not dim enough for those romantic dates, but perfect for business lunches or group outings. We highly recommend the Copper River Salmon or the Alaskan King Crab Legs. Delicious!

EL BURRITO LOCO
The Crazy Burrito! That's what El Burrito Loco means, and these burritos really are crazy. In a good way. It's just a small place and it'd be easy to overlook it, but it's definitely worth a stop. Everything is authentic and homemade, from the specialty dinners and tacos to the a la carte and breakfast items. There are also great vegetarian items, so everyone in your party will be able to find what they're looking for. We recommend the Carne Asada con Camaron, and the Shrimp Fajitas are always fantastic too. Very friendly staff makes it a pleasant dining experience too.

GORDON BIERSCH BREWERY RESTAURANT
This brewery and restaurant is so popular with the locals, and for good reason. The big draw as far as we're concerned is the huge burgers. They are nothing short of giant. Very juicy and perfectly cooked to order. The handcrafted beers are of course the other reason to come in, and the selection is large. Don't be intimidated by that--no matter which brew you choose, they are all delicious and icy cold. If you're wanting something light and crisp with your beer, the wedge salad is a very refreshing choice.

IHOP
This list wouldn't be complete without including IHOP! When you're heading into town in a large group on one of our party buses, there's no better place to stop and get some grub. The fluffy pancakes... delicious waffles... yummy omelettes... and of course they've always got seasonal items and specials that make it worthwhile to stop in often. They serve more than 700 million pancakes per year nationwide, and you don't need to ask why! Their food is delicious any time of day.

THE AULD DUBLINER
We've got to include a great Irish pub on our list, and The Auld Dubliner is it! Get that pint of Guinness and all your favorite Irish treats here, from corned beef sandwiches to potato soup. It's not just limited to Irish fare here though--there's also Scottish and British influence all over the menu. We love the outdoor seating when the weather is warm, and the live music and microbrews are really the icing on the cake! One of our favorite bars in town.

When you want to have a few drinks and catch the big game, Tailgater's is your spot. They've got the big screen televisions that you require, and the delicious burgers chicken and pizza that you crave! Seafood and steak too for the big spenders! Yum. And did we mention the wings? Hell yeah. They're so good. Very spicy. They often have live bands playing too, to add even more entertainment to the mix.

Famous Daves has many locations, but we love the Boilingbrook location for its great service and accommodation of large parties. Perfect for your party bus trip to Boilingbrook! The ribs and brisket are always our favorite choices here, but you cannot go wrong with any item on the menu. Everything is always cooked perfectly to your specifications. Fantastic BBQ, sandwiches, and so much more. Don't miss this one!
