Bridgeview is a city in Cook County, Illinois that had just over fifteen thousand people living there at last count. It's of course the home of Chicago Fire, our pro major league soccer team, along with their venue Toyota Park. Bridgeview has become a very popular destination thanks to the teams that play there! If you're planning to visit the area this week or anytime soon, you'll need to know the best places to grab some grub and perhaps a good stiff drink. These are our top choices for bars and restaurants in the 60455 zip!
NIKO'S RESTAURANT & LOUNGE
Niko's Restaurant & Lounge is one of the coolest and laid back restaurants and bars that we have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The food is simply fantastic. If your'e a big fan of steak, you will adore all the steak offerings on the menu. Really high quality choices. They've also of course got many Mediterranean specialties of the Greek variety, plus great American barbecue dishes and seafood too. We love the nightclub and piano bar vibe in the evenings. One of our highest recommendations in all of Bridgeview for certain.

MAMA LUIGI'S RESTAURANT
Mama Luigi's is one Italian restaurant where you really feel valued as a customer. The service is truly outstanding. The rewards program gives you an incentive to keep coming back (as if you needed a reason beyond the fabulous food!), and it also happens to be a wonderful place to rent out for your private parties and bridal showers. They also have a full bar with a great selection of both wine and beer, so if you'd like to pair your dinner with a fabulous red wine or a beer on tap, this is a great place to do so. Very highly recommended.

Albawadi Grill is truly exquisite when it comes to Middle Eastern food. Their platters of food are truly enormous,, so you can get your fill and then some, without spending as much as you would at another restaurant to get the same amount of food. Everyone who dines here will tell you that the mixed fruit cocktail, a non-alcoholic beverage, is simply to die for, and it is. Be sure to try it when you're there. If you've been seeking a new Middle Eastern restaurant that really gets everything right, look no further. Albawadi is it!
Address: 7216 West 87th Street
Patio Restaurant is a barbecue joint on South Harlem Avenue where you can kick back with your friends and enjoy some of the best ribs and hamburgers that you've ever tasted. The service is out of this world, with old fashioned style and class yet in a very low key way that really fits with the type of restaurant that it is. Some say that the prices are high for a BBQ restaurant, but we say you get what you pay for. Once you've tried Patio ribs, there is no going back to any of the other guys! We suggest that you try Patio Restaurant ASAP!
Address: 9100 South Harlem Avenue
IHOP, International House of Pancakes, is of course that classic place that we all love and can't get enough of. Those breakfasts on the weekends after a long night of partying... the excellent old fashioned service when you're tired of the norm at all today's more modern upscale restaurants... and just the superb high quality of their pancakes, waffles, and other breakfast specialties... What more could you possibly want? This is one chain restaurant that just has to have our recommendation. We love it and we know you do too!

LINDY'S CHILI & GERTIE'S ICE CREAM
Lindy's Chili & Gertie's Ice Cream brings you the best of two worlds... American food and ice cream! These are the kind of little restaurants and ice cream shops that our parents used to enjoy back in the day, and now you can have that old fashioned experience for yourself and perhaps with your own kids. We're big fans of the charred Polish sausage, and their hand cut fries are simply out of this world. If you think that frozen custard is amazing, you haven't lived until you've tried Gertie's ice cream. THE. BEST. ICE. CREAM. EVER. Enough said!

ALL STAR SPORTS BAR
All Star Sports Bar gets our vote because it's a large, roomy bar where you can really stretch out and enjoy your view of the game on one of their many televisions. We love the fact that they unplug that jukebox when there's a Chicago team playing. Now that's a serious sports bar attitude that we can really get behind. The staff is very friendly and helpful when it comes to making sure that you have a good time. And of course the food and drinks are top notch!
Address: 8000 South Roberts Road
MUG SHOTS SALOON
Mug Shots Saloon has been one of our favorite bars for many years now, mostly because of its friendly staff who really go out of their way to make sure that you have an excellent time. There's a menu that's just varied enough to hit all the possible cravings you can have during a game or after a few drinks, and of course the drinks themselves are good and stiff and never too expensive. Great bar ambiance and fun regulars who really know how to have a good time!
Address: 7536 103rd Street
ZOFIA & LEON LOUNGE
Zofia & Leon Lounge is a cool place to kick back with a few stiff drinks after a long hard week at work. We love to stop in and just enjoy the ambiance. The people who work here are supremely friendly, and they're always happy to point you to the best drink specials and items on the menu. We love the music here, and even more the comfortable seating. Everything is of the highest quality, and because of that they get a very nice nod from us on this list. Simply one of the best!
Address: 7112 South Harlem Avenue
X'S & O'S
X's & O's is a cool little bar that's never hit or miss. Purely a win-win situation no matter when you go. It gets very crowded and loud at times, because let's face it, you can't keep a great place like this a secret for too long! The drinks and food alike are varied, so you get a good array of choices unlike some of the other "basics only" bars out there. You can really mix it up and have a good time here. Great music and fun ambiance too! Very cool little bar.
