KLAS RESTAURANT
If you've never dined at a Czech restaurant, it's about time that you make a visit to Klas Restaurant. This is comfort food at its absolute best. The liver dumpling soup is to die for, and the chicken paprikas is of course an easy choice that everyone loves. You'll really enjoy this taste of Europe right here in Illinois. The decor is completely traditional and authentic, with Czech carvings, dolls, and incredible paintings. There is often live piano music or live accordion music to keep you entertained while you dine.

FREDDY'S PIZZERIA
There are quite a few pizzerias included on the Cicero page, but that's because they're all so excellent! One of our favorites is Freddy's. Everything is fresh and delicious. All your favorite Italian specialties are here. It's far from just pizza! We often drive out just for the Italian ice! Perfect pizza, perfect lasagna, perfect salads, perfect bread. A real standout pizzeria among the bunch.

ALBANO'S PIZZERIA
This unassuming little pizzeria has so much to offer in such a small space. The prices are fabulously low, but you'd never know it by the taste. Both the pizza and pizza puffs are great. Many pizzerias fry their pizza puffs, so they're very greasy, but at Albano's they bake them, so you get all the flavor with none of the grease! Of course you've got to try the Italian beef, and the lasagna too. Worth the drive no matter where you're coming in from.

TAQUERIA LOS COMALES
We love Mexican food, and Taqueria los Comales is always reliable. There's no such thing as "hit or miss" at this restaurant. The prices are very cheap, but the food is high quality and very delicious. The steak, burritos, and tacos are our essentials, but there are plenty of other options and you'll want to try everything on the menu at least once. They're open late, so if you're hungry at 2AM after the bar, this is the place to go!

LA QUEBRADA
Huge portions! If you love Mexican food, you'll want to dive into these giant plates and stay awhile. It's very casual, nothing fancy at all, so if you're coming in from a ball game or a casual day of shopping, you don't have to worry about being underdressed. The Cecena Oaxcana is their specialty, and it comes highly recommended. They host live entertainment once a month. The outside of this restaurant is very deceiving! Don't let the unassuming appearance fool you. The food is AMAZING.

COSTA AZUI RESTAURANT
This one made our list because we love their weekend brunch, but they're excellent on all the other days of the week too. Some specialties that you will not find anywhere else are ostiones en su concha, quesadillas de camaron, and camarones aguachile. So delicious! It's a casual atmosphere that's great for friends and families, and nice for dates too. Wonderful service and a great vibe overall. Highly recommended.

FALCO'S PIZZA
Yet another pizzeria makes the list for Cicero. Many say this one has the best pizza in the entire Chicago area. It's too hard for us to choose, but it definitely makes our top five. It's just a little corner spot and you're likely to miss it, so make a special effort to try this place out if you haven't so far. Cheap prices, great food, and a great location!

SEE THRU CHINESE KITCHEN
What can we say about See Thru Kitchen that you don't already know? It's the best place in town to get all your Chinese favorites, from General Tso's to Chop Suey, from Lo Mein to Chow Mein, from Pepper Steak to Potstickers. When you're craving that sweet and sour flavor that you can't get enough of, you automatically think of See Thru Kitchen. Fabulous food cooked fast and served hot!

WING'S CHINESE RESTAURANT
We've always been impressed by the quality of the food here. It's a small place on a corner that you might be apt to look right past if you weren't paying attention, but it's worth a closer look. The prices are very low despite the top quality food, and the selections are different than most Chinese restaurants in the area. Try the Hong Sui Shrimp or the Szechuan Beef Special. They're both wonderful.

HENRY'S DRIVE-IN
You've GOT To love Henry's Drive-In. It's been in business since the 1950s, and they're still going strong! It's considered a historic monument on Route 66. The hot dogs are just as good as they were back in the day, and the fries served in the bun are amazing! Note that it's not really a drive-in in the classical sense of the word. You dine in at cozy booths here. Henry's is an essential. Even if you try no other restaurant on this list, you've got to try Henry's!
