HONG KONG RESTAURANT
Hong Kong Restaurant has some of the most fresh and delicious Chinese food that we've ever tasted, and we'd venture to say that it's one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Hanover Park area. The specialties that we'd most highly recommend are the Hong Kong Special Chicken and the Wonton Soup. But truly you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! Everything is fantastic and served piping hot!

SPRING GARDEN CAFE
The name Spring Garden Cafe hints at a light healthy lunch or dinner, and that's exactly what you get when you visit this wonderful restaurant. They've got just about everything you could want, with a wide variety of entrees (they've got a wonderful breakfast too and plenty of desserts!). If you want to be able to catch the game while you're dining, there are plenty of televisions so you can do just that. Great service too!

CHIGGY'S RESTAURANT
Chiggy's Gyros is one of our favorite places to chow down on some of the best tasting gyros in town! Just talking about it gets our mouths watering. One of the things that really sets this place apart from other gyro joints is that they serve their food on a real plate. It's awesome to get such a cheap and hearty lunch and not have it served in a plastic basket! That's just one of the many ways that the owners of Chiggy's make the customer feel appreciated. We love this place.

PRAIRIE STATION PUB
Prairie Station Pub has that incredible pub atmosphere that we cannot get enough of. Everything here feels very authentic and inviting. The staff always serves you with a smile, and if you're not quite sure what you want they're happy to point you to the best things on the menu. Great selection of beers on tap and in bottles, and a very nice selection of liquors and spirits as well.

TIME OUT WEST
Time Out West is a very cool sports pub that we've been addicted to for quite a while now. There's no pretense here, just an intense focus on providing great drinks on the cheap along with the best sports on TV. The crowds are always friendly and lively, so you leave feeling better than when you arrived. The energy just carries on until everyone has caught the great vibe. We love this place!

TACO PATIO
Taco Patio is one of our favorite places to stop for a quick lunch or dinner. It's cheap, yet the portions are huge and they even give you really generous sides of guacamole and salsa with your combos. They've got a dinner that includes a tamale, a taco, and a quesadilla, which will fill up even the heartiest appetite. Great service and very clean too!

SIR THAI CUISINE
Sir Thai Cuisine may have a very regal name, but the restaurant itself is presented with a no-nonsense vibe and a heavy focus on the food and service. The classics are the best choices here, especially the Pad Thai, which is some of the best we've ever had. The staff is always friendly and helpful when it comes to navigating the menu if you're new to Thai food! Highly recommended!

Taquiera Los Comales
Taquiera Los Comales serves up delicious Mexican food that won't break the bank. Its original location been around decade after decade, and this one keeps going strong because the residents of Hanover Park know what's good and they keep coming back for more! Their tacos are the most popular choice, but we really recommend the Bistec a la Mexicana and the Carne Asada! You won't find a better item on the menu.

Bungalow Joe's
Bungalow Joe's is your source for the best live entertainment, cheap pool and darts, and of course amazing food and drinks. They've always got great daily specials going on... for instance on the day that we're writing this, they've got a fish fry for under seven bucks and a free buffet from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. They really make their customers feel appreciated here, and we just love it! Great staff and great atmosphere too!

Twin Dragons Restaurant is always serving up the freshest and most delicious Chinese food in Hanover Park. When the food is made from such high quality ingredients, it has to come out perfect every time. We most highly recommend their Chicken Chop Suey and Sweet and Sour Chicken, and if you go for your lunch your you'll enjoy their incredibly affordable lunch specials for just $5.95!
