The village of Lisle is a suburb of Chicago with just over twenty three thousand residents. It continues to grow, with Money Magazine ranking them number twenty on their list of best places to live, and also number seventeen on their list of the best places for the rich and single! If you fall under either of those categories, and even if you don't, you'll need to know where to eat and drink when you're in the area! We've taken the time to compile a list of our favorite bars and restaurants in the 60532 zip code. Enjoy!
THE BAVARIAN LODGE
The Bavarian Lodge is more of an experience than just a restaurant. When you walk through the doors you feel that you've been transported back in time. The quality of the food and drinks is on par with that too. We love the Wiener Schnitzel, and all of their soups are fantastic. They of course have a lot of wonderful Belgian beers, and also some American craft brews that are harder to find. Whenever you're craving delicious German food in the Lisle area, just head over to The Bavarian Lodge. It gets one of our highest recommendations.

THE LODGE PUB & GRILL AT FOUR LAKES
The Lodge Pub & Grill at Four Lakes is one of our favorite bars, primarily because they have some of the very best live entertainment we've ever seen! With a different band every single night bringing the house down, what more could you ask for? They've got all your favorite beers on draft and in bottles, plus daily specials on Miller Lite, Bacardi Bombs, Jim Beam, pizzas, you name it. They're all about helping you save a few bucks while you're having a good time. Gotta love that. The Lodge is a definite winner.
Address: 5750 Lakeside Drive
Passeros Pizza has some really amazing pizzas, including the Pizza Bianco, which we're hooked on! If you order by the slice you'll be surprised how generous the slices are, and also the prices are very low compared to most other great pizzerias in the area. They've got other great things here too, including burgers, beef, lasagna, and more. Great space to rent out for parties too! Very highly recommended to you.
Address: 5328 Main Street
CHINN'S 34TH STREET FISHERY
Chinn's 34th Street Fishery has got the best seafood on Ogden Avenue, and you'll find that you really get a lot for your money here! It's both family friendly in the daytime and very romantic at night for dinner, plus there is a bar scene too for those who are looking to party or just relax with a few beers. On the dinner menu we'd recommend the grilled ahi tuna and the garlic shrimp, and for dessert, the key lime pie. So good!
Address: 3011 Ogden Avenue
Fabulous Noodles doesn't make any bones about it - they just call it like it is, and what it is is Fabulous Noodles! And that's not all. This cozy little Chinese restaurant really does have some of the tastiest dishes we've ever had. We love their sweet and sour chicken even though that's one item that kind of falls under the fast food category, and the vegetable egg rolls are really delicious. In terms of the authentic stuff, try the Mongolian beef and the ginger beef! It's all so good, you'll want to try something new every time you go!

MULLENS BAR & GRILL
Mullens Bar & Grill is a great spot to gather with friends and have a few beers or a great lunch. We like to come here on our lunch hour for a really great and cheap meal. Don't get us wrong - there's nothing fancy here! It's just sloppy Joe sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, tater tots... really basic stuff that's not even homemade! But the casual charm of the place and the friendly service is what keeps us coming back time and time again. Love it!
Address: 3080 Warrenville Road
Allgauer's Grill is one of the fancier and more expensive restaurants in Lisle, and we think it's definitely worth the prime prices! Executive Chef Nick Landeweer is the guy who's responsible for the incredible food that you're served here, and the wonderful waitstaff helps to present it in a really classy way. Wonderful for brunch, romantic dinners, and even a really impressive breakfast! Very highly recommended.
Address: 3003 Corporate West Drive
PETE & JOHNNY'S
Pete & Johnny's is a casual family restaurant where you can just relax with your loved ones and enjoy some delicious American food. They've also got a great drink menu that includes Long Island Iced Teas for just $3.50 every single day! Everything on draft is just two bucks! They've got some TVs too so you can catch the game while you're here, and they've also got Golden Tee for the dinner athletes out there. Great fun any time of day!
Address: 2901 Ogden Avenue
Traviata is a wonderful gelato and Italian ice establishment that we just can't get enough of! It seems that every time we get something like this in Lisle, it closes down, so we recommend that you visit this one and visit it often! Support it and it will stick around. This is truly the best gelato we have had other than in Italy itself, and we recommend the sampler which gives you five different flavors. Espresso too! Very highly recommended!

COUNTRY HOUSE RESTAURANT
Country House Restaurant was one that we avoided for a long time because we thought it was one of those family buffets, but as it turns out it's a really great restaurant that offers delicious burgers, incredible steaks and chops, and a reuben that we're really wild over. The prices are very affordable, and that is even more impressive when you consider the high quality service and the great food you get here. Great place to dine.
