PORTILLO'S HOT DOGS
The Streamwood Portillo's location has a great 50s and 60s theme, and that familiar menu including hot dogs and chili, chicken sandwiches, char-broiled burgers, beef-n-sausage sandwiches, meatless sandwiches, side orders, drinks, salads, soups, and desserts! Everything is good here, but our favorites are the jumbo chili cheese dog and the hot grilled tuna caesar salad!

This Japanese sushi restaurant is such a fun place to stop in with friends. We love their oyster shooters which consist of a fresh oyster with fish roe and green onion in vinegar sauce. The teriyaki NY strip steak & shrimp is delicious, done hibachi style and served with ginger sauce. The firewheel roll is also noteworthy, with deep fried yellowtail and green onion rolled in fish roe!

Thai Thanee has the best Thai food in the Streamwood area, with the highlight of their menu being the Tom Yum Kung, a Thai soup that is flavored with fresh shrimp and Thai seasonings including herbs, chili peppers, and lemon juice. They are locally owned, offer delivery, and since everything is made to order, you don't have to have it hot and spicy. Just let them know how you want it and they'll be happy to accommodate you.

You'd expect a bar this great to be located in downtown Chicago, but instead it's right here in Streamwood. They've got both local bands and famous names playing on Saturdays, and on Friday you can be the star at their popular karaoke night. Tons of TVs always showing the big sports games, and a special Black Hawks Corner for the best view of the hockey games!
