Bourbonnais, Illinois

Bourbonnais is a village with just over fifteen thousand residents, located in Kankakee County, Illinois. It's perhaps best known as the home of the Chicago Bears training camp, and there are also a lot of great shopping destinations in the area including Bed Bath & Beyond, Kohl's, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Hobby Lobby, but most of all we really enjoy Bourbonnais Crossing which features lots of shopping, dining, and living space. If you're visiting Bourbonnais anytime soon, you'll want to check out the below listing of our favorite eating establishments and lounges in the 60914 zip code!

Brick Stone Brewery is one of our favorite places to get a great dinner and enjoy some wonderful drinks in the Bourbonnais area. They've got really fantastic food here, and excellent service, so you really feel like a VIP when you're there. The decor is fresh and contemporary, and the ambiance is very warm and friendly. The steaks and salads are delicious, and we'd also recommend that you check out their seafood and even their desserts. Everything here is top notch.

Aurelio's Pizza is a family friendly pizzeria that's perfect for group outings and private parties, as well as intimate get togethers with friends or that special night out with your sweetie. They've got a wide variety of dishes beyond the typical pizza, including chicken dishes and deli favorites. They've got a wide array of appetizers that make perfect starters before that mouth watering pizza too! We love this place for take out and dining in too!

Coyote Canyon is a wonderful steak house in Bourbonnais that we've really come to love. From our first visit we fell in love with the perfectly cooked steaks, and they also have a great buffet that will really satisfy even the heartiest appetites. Fabulous service and prices that you simply cannot beat. We also love the desserts here, but do you want to know what the very best thing about Coyote Canyon is? Hands down, it's the weekend breakfast buffet! Once you try it, you'll be there every weekend for it. Highly recommended!

Baker's Square Restaurant & Pie is of course known best for its signature pies and desserts, and many people stop in just to pick up a wonderful homemade pie to take home. However, we're big fans of this restaurant for their dining experience, because they've got excellent sandwiches, salads, and entrees that will satisfy everybody in your group. Really tasty food at a price that anyone can afford. Great service too!

Nancy's Pizza is a Chicago tradition, and for very good reason! It's all about the high quality of the food here, and it would be really tough to find a better pizza than Nancy's serves. They've got both deep dish pizza and thin crust pizza, and they're both frequently referred to as the best in town! You can get the deep dish filled with your choice of toppings, and if you get creative with it you can really come up with something special. Great appetizers too, and very warm and friendly service. Great restaurant all around!

Beef O'Brady's is a great little pub that we have really fallen in love with over the years. The food here is all American and of course classic pub food, ranging from chicken to burgers and all those bar favorites that we can never get enough of. They've got a really impressive wine list as well as a selection of beers that will really make your mouth water. We always have a great time when we go to Beef O'Brady's with friends because of the fun ambiance and the happy crowds that gather here. Great place to relax on the weekends!

Vito's Pizzeria & Pub is best known for its pizza, and we'd be hard pressed to find another dine-in pizza establishment that does a better job than this one. A few come close, and we've mentioned them here, but we really feel that Vito's is the king of pizza! The crust is a little on the softer side here as opposed to the super crispy type, and we love that. The toppings and cheese are of the highest quality possible. And the service? Well, it's exquisite.

We don't expect you to be able to spell it. Heck, we don't even expect you to be able to pronounce it! But Mac Amhlaoibh's Irish Pub is truly one of the very best pubs around, and if you're not drinking and dining there, then you are really missing out! They play excellent Irish music, serve delicious food, and the entire thing is run by owners who really have class and restaurant smarts. They welcome you with open arms and make sure that you have a wonderful time while you're there. Very highly recommended to anyone who enjoys a great pub!

T J Donlin's is a sports bar located in Bourbonnais, and many of our friends have told us that it's their very favorite. We haven't visited this one in person, but we're told that it's got a great low key atmosphere, very fun regulars who know how to let their hair down ahd have a great time, and best of all a staff that really cares about their customers. Delicious food, cheap drinks, and an all around excellent time!

Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar gets one of our highest recommendations partly just because of its incredible wings. Those mouth watering bone-in and boneless wings tossed in your choice of amazing sauces just totally blow our minds! There are no other wing restaurants in the area or anywhere that we know of that offer such a huge variety of sauces to choose from. Sauce junkies rejoice! It's good stuff. The bar is also really fun and the service is excellent. If you're looking for a great night out, this is it!
