AL'S CAFE AND CREAMERY
Al's Cafe and Creamery is one of the most incredible places in Elgin to grab a bite to eat or a refreshing cold drink. The malts are worth a long drive on their own if you ask us! Our favorite dish here is the Chicken Florentine. Their sandwiches are also worth a mention, as they're hot, fresh, and delicious! Try the roasted turkey, it's our fave! We love the comfortable atmosphere and the world class service. Very friendly servers. They've been around forever for a reason, and that longstanding reputation for great food and service didn't come from nowhere! Very charming and cozy establishment.

Many locals will tell you that Jimmy's Charhouse is the best restaurant in town. They've got really great atmosphere, nice and clean, and yet subdued and cozy.
